Hi! I’m Atem Aguer, an MS student in Computer Science at Stanford focusing on AI and computer systems. I completed my BS here as well.
I have broad interests in technology, startups, and AI. In my technical work, I focus on systems for machine learning.
Previously, I led AI engineering at Codegen (an early coding agents startup), built distributed storage infrastructure at DoorDash, and researched NLP and distributed systems at Stanford Future Data Systems with Omar Khattab and Matei Zaharia. I was also an early employee at Alchemy during DeFi summer and a founding engineer at a startup during my gap year after high school.
Outside of work, I play soccer, lift weights, hack on open-source projects, and watch too much TV.
